THE IMPORTANCE OF ACOUSTICS
Your new equipment and speakers have been perfected by the manufacturer to exacting specifications in a controlled acoustical environment set as a standard throughout the industry for measuring and publishing manufacturer's specifications. Now, when you bring that equipment home, your environment is filled with anomolies that will affect and degrade the performance of that equipment, so in order for it to sound its best, each room should be acoustically treated to create the best listening experience for your desires, whether it be a family room, a dedicated home theater, or a home recording studio. The effects of a room that is not treated or improperly treated can make even the most expensive equipment sound worse that the cheapest, and likewise, huge improvements can be made to your room to increase the performance of lesser quality equipment with noticeable improvements on echos, reflections, reverberations, imaging, depth and width of sound stage, and overall clarity.
Acoustics do not need to look bad either. We have a variety of treatments to improve the look of your room, while adding acoustical control, whether you are looking for something subtle, or something that looks like a theater, we can make the best recommendation to suit your tastes and budget.
WHERE'S THE BASS?
Every room has acoustical room modes which can be very bad! Even with the most powerful, largest most expensive subwoofers, if these room modes are not predicted or measured and the subwoofer or seating is in the wrong place, you may be missing the impact of what your subwoofer is capable of. The bass is still there, but it's not where you want it or need it to be and in most cases some simple adjustment in placement can correct these to bring you the impact you paid for.
SOUNDPROOFING
If you are concerned about noise travelling from one room to another, we are experts in soundproofing as well.
